userdel

Userdel puede modificar /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow, /etc/gshadow y /etc/group.
También puede crear los carpetas de hogar y archivos spool de correo.
Su comportamiento se define mediante el archivo /etc/login.defs.

[root@Llawyr ~]# userdel --help
Usage: userdel [options] LOGIN

Options:
  -f, --force                   force removal of files,
                                even if not owned by user
  -h, --help                    display this help message and exit
  -r, --remove                  remove home directory and mail spool
  -R, --root CHROOT_DIR         directory to chroot into

[root@Llawyr ~]# userdel DelMe1

       The userdel command exits with the following values:

       0
           success

       1
           can't update password file

       2
           invalid command syntax

       6
           specified user doesn't exist

       8
           user currently logged in

       10
           can't update group file

       12
           can't remove home directory
